MPPAC FOUNDATION
Our Fundamental Purpose...
In the summer of 2012, the Miramar-Pembroke Pines Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. established Kappa Alpha Psi MPPAC Foundation for the purpose of improving the quality of life for those residing in Southwest Broward County, Florida and surrounding through charitable donation, youth mentorship, educational scholarship, feeding and clothing initiatives as well as hands-on community involvement.
Last year alone, the foundation awarded over $5,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors, funded a multi-state college tour for young men in the Kappa League program, made a sizeable donation to St Jude's Research Hospital, volunteered over 640 man hours with Feeding South Florida, donated over 700 backpacks and supplies to students, provided travel assistance for patients registered with the American Cancer Society; in addition to a host of other community enriching initiatives. For its efforts, the chapter has been recognized as Community Service Chapter of the Year for the past three consecutive years in the Southern Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
